about me

Growing up in Birmingham, West Midlands, my affinity for art took root and soon flourished into a deep-seated passion as I studied Fine Art. It was during my time in sixth form that this fascination sprouted into the world of set design, eventually leading me to pursue a course in Set Design and Production at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. During my time in school I produced a plethora of large scale oil-paintings that span over metres and only segment the extent of my achievement in the field. Looking through my lens, a visionary designer and maker that is beginning to push the boundaries of imagination with my passion for transforming spaces by blending art, innovation and craftsmanship. Here you can not only explore my personal portfolio, but begin to see my story by getting to know who I am as a person through my meticulous attention to detail and commitment to bringing a vision to life. As you navigate your way through my virtual hall, you will discover not only finished projects but also the behind-the-scenes magic by diving into my personal process, from initial conception to final curtains. I actively immerse myself throughout and have volunteered my time to contribute and develop my skills within the industry. My most recent production was on the show 'Oh! What a Lovely War' a satirical play in the Halliwell Theatre where I worked as the Set Designer and Sound Assistant. These opportunities have not only enriched my understanding within the field but have solidified my skills by really honing them in, functioning as the active driving force in my creative journey.

War, satire, and a fully functional carousel? 🎠✨ For our third-year production of Oh What a Lovely War, I designed a dynamic set that transported the audience from a surreal, dreamlike battlefield to the stark, shattered remains of war. Act 1 saw a
